Mr. Demond Smith

Demond Smith but affectionately known as Chocolate Thunder, when we played together on the 42nd SFS flag football team. May you rest in peace and my condolences/prayers to your family.

He was my second supervisor when I arrived at Maxwell, AFB. He definitely pushed me and was apart of my success in the Air Force. Condolences and Prayers to his family.

Demond was a mentor and friend. I met Demond at Maxwell AFB which was my first duty station as a young airman. At the time I didn't know that the dumb decision that he was correcting me on would allow me to retire from the military and make me the man that I am today. To the family I'm praying for you because within the small time I've had with him and the impression that he left on me I know that he poured even more love into you. Rest in peace brother.

Demond and I have been friends since 1993 when we met at Yokota AB, Japan. He motivated and inspired so many in our military family. He was like a brother, friend and mentor to many. I will miss him dearly. My condolences to his family. You are Loved by many.
