Uncle Greg, You knew my business better than I did, and I never could figure out how. You'd laugh, drop a line, and somehow know just what was going on.

You didn't have to be here in person to be present. Your love traveled through cards, through phone calls that lasted just long enough, and texts that showed up exactly when I needed them.

You carried your joy like a crown, wearing it lightly but sharing it freely. Even miles apart, I always felt the weight of your care.

Now you're with my dad, and I know you've told him, "I kept my word."

It's hard to believe you're not just a call away, but I trust God's timing. King, your love was steady, your laughter unforgettable, and your presence no matter the distance will always be with me.
