(1 Peter 5:7) Moreover, he promises that all who do so will have their thoughts and feelings soothed by "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding." (Philippians 4:6, 7)

To the Nettles Family, I beseech you therefore brethren that you present body a living sacrifice, Holy, and acceptable unto the Lord. A brother in Christ who came out of bondage, thrown in prison, and like Paul and Silas prayed a prayer. You did not EVER DISRESPECT ME! FOR WHO THE SON SETS FREE IS FREE INDEED! Many want to go to Heaven but afraid to DIE! Horace, III, you fought the good fight of faith. I remember those good old fashioned days at Weeping Willow Missionary Baptist Church under the late Dr. Leon F. Ross, Sr. in Bible Study, you did not LOOK OVER me! LAST TIME RHONDA GAIL, BRENDA, SHARON, AND THE GANG was at Dollar General, I asked him who your favorite girl? He said, my Momma, I said ,"Yes, and I know her birthday, he couldn't stop laughing! Valbie, Harold, and the entire Nettles family, May God continue to bless and keep you always like I tell my daughter. Horace you have fought the good fight of faith!

To the Nettles Family: We are truly sorry to hear about the recent passing of Horace Nettles. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends during this time of great sadness. May all grieving hearts please draw comfort from this promise from God where He tells us about a wonderful hope that He will extend to those who have fallen asleep in death. This promise is not a secret. It is recorded in the Bible so that all may draw comfort from it. So, for a brief moment, please take note of this loving promise from God. The promise is recorded at John 5:28-29. The verses tells us that God in the very near future would cause a calling to go forth to those in the grave to stand up in life again. Yes, what a wonderful promise this truly is. From these two verses alone, God is giving us His personal guarantee that the restoring of life would take place. That persons like Horace, and billions of people from around the world would have their lives restored back to them. This arrangement will take place because God is the source of life for all things. (Psalm 36:9) Yes, even if a person dies, God has the power and the desire to make that person whole again. The ransom sacrifice of His son also make the restoring of life possible. (John 3:16) To help all grieving hearts to develop strong faith in this future blessing from God, our Creator has preserved nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about the grand resurrection blessing that is near at hand. Here is just one such example that we draw comfort from. It is recorded at John 11:32-44. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these wonderful verses apply to Horace, and a great host of others who await their personal awakening from the deep sleep of death. Just imagine what this time period will be like, as the sound of joy and loud fills the entire earth, due to the restoring of life taking place. So, in closing we encourage all to please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. (Titus 1:2)
