Mr. Joseph Gholston, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed April 12 2026. Funeral service will be Saturday, April 25, 2026, from Ross-Clayton Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in Lucas Cemetery.

My deepest condolences to my aunt Dorothy and all of my uncle Joe children and to all of my uncle Joe siblings. I will truly miss talking to my uncle Joe and making him laugh and him making me laugh. I love my uncle Joe very much. My uncle Joe wasn't just my uncle he was my uncle - dad. That was something we laughed about a lot. I will miss coming to Alabama to come see him and spending time with him. And I am so so sad that I couldn't come in person to attend his service. John 5:28,29 Love you, Denise
