Obituary For Mr. Larry Carl Thomas
Mr. Larry Carl Thomas, a resident of Pike Road, AL., passed away September 10, 2024. A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Weeping Willow Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Alabama Heritage
Larry Carl Thomas was born the son of James Henry Thomas, Sr. and Elizabeth Hardaway on September 11, 1953.
He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Weeping Willow Baptist Church where he was a faithful member for many years.
Larry is preceded in death by his father, James Henry Thomas, Sr., Step-father, Moses Hardaway, brother, Rev. Kenneth Lydell Thomas, Sr., son LaCarlos Wright, niece, Chiquita Sharpe, and sister Patricia Ann Thomas.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife Wanda Thomas, mother Elizabeth Hardaway; two daughters Ukesha Farrior (Edward), and LaToya Wright; one son Uron Wright; 6 grandchildren, Jamonica Wright, Eman Farrior, Ethan Farrior, Elliott Farrior, Kaden Cook, Kynslee Wright. 4 brothers James H. Thomas, Jr. (Dorothy), Alvin K. Thomas (Vicki), Curley D. Thomas (Cheryl), Burt R. Thomas (Mutanu): two sisters; Sheryl D. Elmore (Michael), Alida E. Thomas Lewis and sister-in-law, Deborah Thomas (the late Rev. Kenneth L. Thomas, Sr.); and a host of other relatives and friends.
