Mr. Melvin Howard, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed July 12, 2025. Funeral service will be Saturday July 26, 2025, from Ross-Clayton Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in Woodley Memorial Cemetery.

Uncle Melvin's thoughtful, gentle spirit is what stands out most about him. He embodied Galatians 5:22-23 and everyone who encountered him was nourished by those fruits. His love for his family, especially his wife and daughters, was the most authentic example of God's love for us. I am comforted in knowing his beautiful spirit is now free from its restricting earth suit to experience the next level of glory.
