Mr. Michael Provitt

Condolences to Michael's family. He was one of the nicest guys anyone would be happy to know. The thing I liked about Mike, is the fact that he was always the same old Mike. He always had a smile and the best sense on humor. So happy that I had the honor of knowing him. May the wonderful memories you have of him, help you in this trying time. Be happy knowing that he was liked by all that knew him.

I am deeply sadden by the loss of my high school classmate, Mr. Michael Provitt. May his family, community, and friends find comfort in God's hands. Mildred Bailey, Sidney Lanier, Class of 1974.

My condolences to the Provitt family and Class of "74".Mike and I go back to the days at Fews Elementary school and the "Bottom".We had so much fun growing up playing basketball on Lanier outside court, before we were able to play on the inside court, a milestone was made at Lanier,Curly"Dick"McCrary,Willie"Bay"Boswell,Erick Croskey,Michael "Mike"Provitt Sr and I'm the last One Roy McDade. As a member of the Class of 1974, I can be a witness to say that his dedication to assisting in coordinating our class events will be forever cherished in our hearts. His kindness will be remembered for a lifetime. All we had to do was send a text or an email and Michael delivered. Again, you are in my prayers at this time.

To Michael's wife, children, family and friends. It seems like just such a short time ago that I was at the Sidney Lanier 50th High School Reunion that Micheal payed such a pivotal role in planning to assure that our final gathering would be memorable. Thanks for always giving your all to assure that folks are connected. Your kindness as a fellow poet and long life friend will forever be remembered . Gone too soon!
