Mr. Stanley Henderson, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed November 29, 2025. Funeral service will be Saturday, December 6, 2025, from Ross-Clayton Funeral Home Chapel at 9:00 A.M.
Baptized at an early age, Stan was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. He was educated at St. Jude Educational Institute, where his foundation of faith, discipline, and service began to take shape. On February 1, 1975, Stan proudly joined the Air Force National Guard, beginning a journey of honor and commitment to his country. After transitioning out of the military, his dedication to service continued as he became an active and devoted member of the Masonic Lodge. Over the next 35 years, he served faithfully in several capacities, contributing his time and leadership to A.E.A.O.N.M.S., Mizraim Temple #119, and Booker T. Washington Consistory #115. He also held the distinguished office of Worshipful Master of Lewis Adams Lodge #67 in Tuskegee and served as Noble Advisor to Mizraim Court #110, as well as supporting the Order of Eastern Star sisters of Lewis Adams OES Chapter #519. Through his Masonic work, Stan built lifelong bonds and served with humility, purpose, and unwavering dedication. Stan was a loving and devoted father, brother, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Mary Henderson, and his sister, Bernabine Henderson, whom he now joins in eternal rest. He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Gabrilla Jones, Erica Dudley, Dominic Henderson, and Tydell Henderson; and his daughter, DeVeilla Lambert. His grandchildren—Stanley Jones, Daron Jones (Celeste), Calvin I.S. Dudley Jr., and David Lawson—will carry forward his legacy with pride, along with his grandson Austum Lambert. His loving siblings, Zita Lewis-Henderson and Lyndon Henderson, will forever hold close the bond they shared and the memories that will continue to live in their hearts. Stan also leaves behind a host of special people whom he cared for deeply: his Masonic brothers, the Order of Eastern Star sisters of District 7, his great-grandchildren, nephew, neighbors, tenants, and many dear friends. To all who knew him, he leaves a legacy of love, service, strength, and unwavering commitment to those he cherished. May his life continue to inspire us, and may his memory forever be a blessing.

Send flowers to the service of Mr. Stanley Henderson
Our condolences are in order. We grew up as next door neighbors located at 3331 Suwannee Drive, Carver Park, Montgomery Ala where we played as kids playing in the back yard baseball, jump rope, climb the tree, red light and a many more games and real livelihood. We shared on large backyard bc there was no fence between the yards. It was just a big yard made up of many residents. We did not bother to say whose yard is it, ours? Stanley is being missed. Always a smile when looking at him. A peacemaker bc some days, we were a pickle amongst us. Not with Stanley! Wow, his fleshy body is gone yet his spirit continues to live with us. Amen
A man of faith who served his community and his country. Stanley was a devoted father and family man. His presence was cherished and will be missed by his family, Masonic brothers and neighbors. We pray for God's grace and mercy during the family's time of bereavement. St Jude's Alumni and Friends Assn
