My sincere condolences to the entire family and friends of Brother Winston Bateman Knight! I first met Cpl. Knight as a freshman athlete while attending Alabama State University! Immediately he impacted my life to the man I am today! He was my Patrol Supervisor in Law Enforcement at Alabama State University Police Department on Third Shift patrol! He was a good person but a great friend! For over 30 years he was father figure and mentor to me! He will definitely be missed! So so sorry to hear of the death of such a wonderful, kindhearty,trustworthy person I have ever known. I meet him as residential supervisor at ASU,and for twenty years he show himself to be a gentleman,worthy of the positon he held as Campus Police.
