My condolences to the families of Mona L Green. May the sweet memories of a dear friend (Mona Lisa DST) be with all of us forever. She was always smiling and loved to have fun as we worked together (back in the day) as classroom teachers at Peter Crump Elementary in Montgomery, Alabama. During our difficult times we God is still in charge! To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 corinthians 5:8) Until we meet again my friend! DRJGB-AkA

In Loving Memory of Mrs. Mona Lisa Green
Mrs. Green was a beautiful woman — inside and out. Her beauty wasn't just in her smile or her style, though she certainly had both. It came from her heart — a heart overflowing with love, compassion, and grace.
She loved her children with all that she had, and she loved all children, especially those with special needs. She had a special way of making every child feel seen, valued, and loved. When her days were hard, she'd slip away to the self-contained special education classrooms — not to escape, but to be refilled. Loving on those precious children brought her peace and reminded her of her purpose.
As a principal, she was more than a leader — she was a caretaker, a friend, and a source of strength for her teachers and staff. She led with compassion, always finding ways to lift others up.
And oh, we could always hear her coming! Mrs. Green could never sneak up on anyone — those high heels announced her long before she arrived. And when you heard them, you knew it was that beautiful woman — walking with confidence, grace, and just the right amount of flair. She loved her shoes, and somehow, they matched her joyful, vibrant spirit perfectly.
"She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue." — Proverbs 31:26
"Let your light so shine before others, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." — Matthew 5:16
Mrs. Green's light shone brightly — in her laughter, in her kindness, in the way she made every person she met feel special. Though she is no longer with us, her love and her legacy live on in every heart she touched.
"Well done, good and faithful servant... enter into the joy of your Lord." — Matthew 25:23
