Obituary For Nettie Alexander

Mrs. Nettie Mae Arms Alexander passed away peacefully in her sleep to be with the Lord on Monday, February 1, 2021. Graveside services will be held Friday, February 5, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from Eastwood Memorial Gardens, 7500 Wares Ferry Road, Montgomery, AL 36117 with Brother Ron Simmons from her home church Southside Church of Christ, Montgomery, AL officiating. Due to COVID-19, guidelines will be followed and each one is required to wear masks and social distance. Mrs. Alexander traveled the world with her husband, Staff Sergeant Tommie Lee Alexander (deceased) and together they settled in their beloved community Woodcrest. After his death, this community became her family for the next 60 years. Mrs. Alexander devoted her life to her family, she was a very active member in church, several local social clubs, community centers and she loved spending time with her friends bowling, shopping, walking and swimming. Many people were blessed from her amazing talent in upholstery where she would transform pieces of furniture into a treasure. Mrs. Alexander was the matriarch of her family and she leaves behind a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends
