It's always hard to lose a friend but you cherish the memories and keep moving forward. I met Sharon a long time ago at Alabama State University. We instantly clicked and she treated me like family. She was strong, fierce, loyal and funny. She invited me to have Thanksgiving Dinner with her family, boy was I glad! Mrs. McDade's food was delicious and it felt like being home! When we had a brief chat last month, she told me that she was proud of her daughter, thankful for her mother's strength glad that she had the love of her sister. Stay strong in the Lord as He will see each of you through this journey. Love to all.....Gale
My sincere condolences to the McDade family. Sharon and I attended high school together where we became friends. Sharon's big personality, intellect and smile will be sorely missed.

Ms. Sharon, I truly don't have the words. I will live with the regret of not checking on you as much as I should have. Prior to your passing... I kept saying I need to call Ms. Sharon because it's been awhile since we last spoke but never got around to doing it. I will cherish your voicemails forever and I will hold the memories of your one of a kind personality forever as well. Sleep peacefully my friend until we meet again. My deepest condolences to the family.
