Alonzo Wright, 80 of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Born Wednesday, May 20, 1942 in Somerville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Carnell Puryear Woods. Surviving are son, Antonio Wright, sisters, Mary Owens of Bartlett, TN, Norma Jean Houston and Terrie Woods; 1 grandchild. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 11:55 AM on Monday, March 27, 2023, at R S Lewis & Sons, 3651 Austin Peay Highway, Memphis, Tennessee. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday at R S Lewis & Sons located at 3651 Austin Peay Highway Memphis, Tennessee 38128.
