Obituary For Angela Conway Leake

Angela M. Conway Leake was born in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Mr. Aljah Conway Sr. and Queen Ola Conway on December 13, 1964, and bid her farewell to this earthly realm on January 22, 2025.

She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior as a young girl and was baptized. Angela M. Conway Leake was a devoted woman of God and was a member of United Community Outreach Worship Center, where she started singing in the choir.

She was a graduate of Mitchell Road High School, Class of 1983. She worked at Methodist North Hospital for twenty-three years until her health started to decline.

Angela Michelle Conway Leake was married to the late Christopher Leake, and to this union, two sons were born.

Angela Michelle Conway Leake leaves a legacy to cherish her memory: two sons, Andre Leake and Quinton Leake; one grandson; five brothers, Aljah Conway Jr., Walter Michael Conway, Gregory Eugene Conway (Harry Mae), Phillip Aaron Conway, and her twin, Dr. Angelo Marcellus Conway (Roberta); one sister, Peggy Ann Hayes (Johnny); along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 10:00am-11:55am with a Celebration of Life to follow at 12:00noon both will be held at United Community Outreach Worship Center 2821 Rangeline Memphis, TN 38127

Interment will be in New Park Cemetery, Memphis, TN.
