Obituary Written by Angela Wirt
“Precious in the sight of Jehovah is the death of His saints.” Psalms 116:15 (ASV)
You have been on this cancer-fighting journey with me for a while. God’s Grace and Mercy have brought us to this moment.
Ernestine and Harvey, Mom and Dad…I no longer miss you, for we are together.
John G. Wirt…My Hubby, My Soulmate! In 2002, you swept me off my feet. You are my “Once in a Lifetime.”
Annie, Sharon (Damon), Alphonso, Darryl (Sonya), Daphne (Kenneth), Mary Ann…The greatest gift our parents ever gave us was each other. Having siblings is like making music, some high notes, some low notes, but it is always a Beautiful Song!
Johnnie Louise, Veretta, Kenneth (Kendra), Kirk, Brook…Whenever you are missing me, remember how fortunate I was that you were in my life. I would not trade those moments for the world.
Nieces and Nephews…You have our memories in your hearts that make you smile and laugh. The times we spent together were the best we ever had. “YOUR FAVORITE AUNTIE, AINYAIN”
Extended Family and Friends…This is my wish for you: Comfort on difficult days, Smiles when sadness intrudes, Rainbows to follow the clouds, Laughter to kiss your lips, Sunsets to warm your heart, Hugs when spirits sag, Beauty for your eyes to see, Friendship to brighten your being, Faith so that you can believe, Confidence for when you doubt, Courage to know yourself, Patience to accept the truth, Love to complete your life.
Appreciation to: Memphis City School, Melrose High School, Shelby State Community College (Associates of Science in Business Administration), Memphis State University (Bachelor of Science in Finance), Internal Revenue Service, and United States Postal Service (37 years/retirement).
Lastly, I thank God for a life well lived! IT WAS A WONDERFUL LIFE!

First, please accept my condolences and know that I have been praying for you all. Second, the word joy comes to mind when I think of Angela. We all used to attend Southside Church of Christ together. Angela radiated joy. The last rime I saw her a few years ago, she had a magnetic glow. Rest, dear Angela, rest. With love, Regina
