Hilarious, talkative, never met a stranger...that was ANN. During one of our travels, we had a layover at the Montego Bay Airport for a few hours. Ann told me that she was going to the restroom. After more than an hour, she had not returned. Of course, I was concerned that a Jamaican had persuaded her to leave the airport with him. But finally she returned, and said that she was talking with someone (duh!?). Aunt Orlonia joined us on a cruise around the Hawaiian Islands. She was a real trooper...that is, she enjoyed herself, whenever Ann or I went in separate directions, Auntie was ready to join either or both of us. Rest in peace, Ann. You will be missed.
I pray God's love gives you and your family peace during this journey.
To the family of Ann McCormick. I am deeply saddened to learn about Ann's passing. I worked with her in Kenosha WI at KCDC. We were very good friends and shared a lot of great memories and laughter during our season. And while writing this message I can hear her laugher. After my son Aaron Hayes passed, She told me that she named her grandson Aaron him. I was honored. I have spoken with her several times while her stay in Memphis. Truly I know that your mom and grandmother is resting in her Savior's arms where there is no more pain and suffering. She Loved God and her family. I pray family that you will allow God's peace and comfort to cover your lives during this season while celebrating the life and legacy of Ann Anderson McCormick..To God be the Glory!
I got to know Ms Ann through my son Donte. I appreciate & love Ms Ann for how she took to my son as one of her own. I enjoyed conversing with her whenever we had the chance. Her laugh was so contagious. She'll be missed.
