The Dr. Charles F. and Maria Pinkston family wish to offer our deepest sorrow and sympathy on the passing of the Honorable Judge Arthur T. Bennett. We have been blessed to experience the friendship our parents had with the Bennetts and I will sorely miss Judge Bennett's humor and laughter. I appreciated his energy and zest for life. Judge Bennet was one of the smartest, kindest juris that I have ever known. What a joy to know him.A story, Judge Bennet kept a water pitcher that he used regularly on his Court bench. I recall one St Patrick's day, celebrated intensely by many working in the Courthouse, someone put green food coloring in the water. During Court session Judge poured a glass of green water. As he jumed up out of his seat, with a startled look, he laughed harder than any one else...never did find out who did that. Judge Bennet was just a great person and will be missed. Prayers for strength comfort and peace to family and friends.
