My sincere condolences and heart felt prayers to the Washington family. I have known mother Washington and the Washington family since growing up together with the Washington children at Temple of Faith COGIC in Mansfield. I have known Mrs. Azlea Washington all of my life, our families were very close and all of her children who are my cousins (Argene, Lamar, Henry and Clyone), we were all raised together in Mansfield, Ohio. Azlea always offered sincere encouragement, a good listening ear and support for working through challenges. When my son came into my life she provided wisdom and insight on how to best take care of a baby boy. Throughout my motherhood life she would always call to check on Chris (my son) and I, and I appreciated that support, and it provided me with a lot of strength. She was a best friend to my parents, and they loved her dearly, and they enjoyed each other company, and had many pleasurable conversations together. One of Azleas's favorite sayings was "Give it to me straight" meaning don't play around with what you have to say, just be honest! I loved her unconditionally and will always carry her spirit and strength with me. God Bless Ms. Azlea Washington and her family, and may God always hold her in high heavenly light!
