Obituary For Bertha Lee Hall

Bertha Lee Hall was born to the late JK Evans and Geneva Evans in Elaine, Arkansas.

With love and cherished memories, we honor the life of Berth Hall, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Her lifewas a blessing to all who knew her, and her memory will remain forever in the hearts of her family and loved ones.

Bertha was the loving mother of eight children: Gwendolyn Guy and Betty Ruth Hall who proceeded her in death, Annette Guy; Marilyn Kerr (Melvin) Sandra Ellis; Linda Wiggins (Harold) Sharon Lane,(Marlon) and Gregory Hall, (Shontorrie).

Her legacy continues through her 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren, whose lives reflect the love and strength she shared throughout her journey.

Bertha was preceded in death by her sister, Josephine McCrainey.

She also leaves to cherish her memory six brothers and a special friend, Abraham Hardin.

She was a faithful and active member of MGCES and served on the Mother’s Board until her health failed.

Berth’s love, wisdom, cooking and presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

The family will receive friends for a public visitation on Friday September 11, from 4 pm until 6 pm, with service of celebration 10 am on Saturday September 12, both at Mt. Gilead the Cathdral El-Shaddai 3997 Willowview Rd. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Southwoods 5485 Hacks Cross Rd.
