Pastor Billy Thompson Jackson Sr, 80, of Memphis, TN passed away on April 08, 2026 at Rainbow Health & Rehab in Memphis, Tennessee. Billy was born on January 31, 1946 to John and Mary Virginia Jackson Potts in Memphis, Tennessee. Pastor Jackson was pastor emeritus of Mt Olive Missionary Baptist Church, where he served until his health wouldn't allow him to serve in a full time role. He is survived by his spouse Pauline T Jackson; four children, Rev. Nicole Jackson, Billy T Jackson Jr (LaTondra), Debra Pigram(Keith), and John Telford; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Faye Jackon, and Deborah Jackson-Rhynes. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 25th, 2026 from 9:00 am - 10:55 am at St John Missionary Baptist Church located at 2791 Barron Ave Memphis, TN. Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 25th, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the St John Missionary Baptist Church with officiating. Burial will take place on Monday april 27,2026at 11:00AM in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery located at 4000 Forest Hill Irene Road Memphis, TN 38125.
