Byron Randal Johnson was born April 11, 1965, to Louise Randall Hodges and very soon afterwards adopted by his maternal parents the late Sherman and Emma Johnson. He transitioned from this earth on Sunday, September 11, 2022 @ 5:01pm. Byron accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. James Netters, throughout his entire childhood and young adult life. He later joined Greater Imani the Cathedral of Faith where he served on the Deacon’s Board for over twenty years under the leadership of Apostle Bill Adkins. Byron recently joined Truth Generation Church and served as the Deacon under the leadership of Apostle Kenneth D. And Pastor Erica L. Cunningham. Byron graduated from Carver High School in 1983. He joined the United States Army immediately after graduating high school. Years later he attended University of Memphis. Bryon was an Affiliated Realtor for Lawrence Johnson Realtors for over twenty years (20) during this period he also worked for Memphis Housing Authority for fifteen years until recently retiring. He was preceded in death by his maternal parents Sherman and Emma Johnson. He leaves to cherish his soul mate and wife Cassandra Johnson. His four children: Brian R. Johnson, Calensia T. Curry, Warren Robinson (DeShena), Ronald L. Robinson, eight (8) grandchildren. His biological mother Louise Hodges and one brother Johnny Hodges. Three sisters-in-law’s: Angie Jolliff, Bobbie Greenlee and Priscilla Robinson. Two brothers-in-laws: Myron Jones and Timothy Jones. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 9:00am- 9:55am with a funeral service to follow 10:00am both will be held at Truth Generation Church 5535 Pleasant View.
The interment will be held following the services at Memorial Park South Woods Cemetery.

I'm Toccara Byron sister in law who wasn't mentioned in the obituary and I'm also the mother of his biological nieces and nephews who also wasn't mentioned in the obituary which is his brother Johnny children but we loved and cherished Byron the times we did see him continue resting peacefully I'm glad you got justice
