RIP C, man we had some great laughs back in the day we lost contact after I changed jobs and I just found out you transition to a greater place in time

This really hit me hard. It hurt my heart. I remember you running around and playing outside with my lil brother and nephew on Neptune Street. I always told you when you grow up we were gonna get married because you were always up behind me. When you went to the Army and came home that's the first thing you said "I am grown now we can get married". You were like my lil brother from another mother. I loved you then and still love you now I am gonna miss those talks we use to have or you coming to see me when you are on Neptune Street. Rest well my lil brother and friend until we meet again. I Love you Carl Morton❤️❤️
Rest well little cousin. You will be greeted at the gates of heaven by the ancestors.
"As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.. As a face is reflected in water, so the heart reflects the real person.. Just as Death and Destruction are never satisfied, so human desire is never satisfied.. Fire tests the purity of silver and gold, but a person is tested by being praised" PROVERBS 27:17, 19-21
You were my FIRST and BEST friend when I came to Memphis 25 years ago. I saw you EVERYDAY... I still hear your unmistakable voice and hardy laugh. Whether it was telling a joke or offering advice; you became my brother. When I had grown hopeless and discouraged, it was YOU whom convinced me to stay. Thank YOU for ALWAYS being there for me.. I will keep mentioning your name and keep telling our LIFE stories and I will smile and hear your laugh again.. YOU are the TRUE meaning of friendship and brotherhood.. I will keep you in my heart FOREVER... Mitch
My childhood memories of Carl was when we battled on the basketball court on high corner, was young guy with my other young friends always thought we could beat his team
My childhood Freind, fellow Cowboys fan, no one knows the time nor the hour, so as I type this I'll remember the good times we had trying to hang out with the older crew on Walnut, Ioka & Neptune... your memory will always be forever with us all, another Angel to watch over us, I'm gonna miss your laughter & silly personality. Tombstone forever & DC4L!!!
Rest in peace Carl....
My homeboy, schoolmate and friend. Mane, we all had some good times on Walnut, Polk, Ioka, ect. I remember when we graduated from high school and couldn't find a summer job. You suggested the Armed Services. We took the Asvab and passed. I joined the Marines and you Joined the Army. I remember the days of argueing about them Cowboys and Steelers. The last time we did see each other was at our other brother's funeral. I remember that we were so happy to see each other. I'm going to miss you my friend and brother. Rest Easy.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
