Obituary For Charles Edward Watkins
Charles Edward Watkins, 61, of Memphis, TN passed away on April 16, 2026 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Charles was born on February 8, 1965 to Charlie and Jannie Phillips in Sumter, South Carolina. He is survived by four children, Shalamar Watkins of Memphis, TN, Shamar Watkins (Meli), Dominque Watkins, and Jonthan Watkins and one brother, Joseph Watkins (Lakeanya). He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Price and Jannie Phillips Watkins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7th, 2026 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at R.S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Homes 2944 Walnut Grove Rd. Memphis, TN. Graveside services will be on Thursday, May 7th, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.

He was an good friend we work together on apartment and we did are1st tour together to Iraq I will miss him deeply
