Demetrice Denise Barrett, 43 of Collierville, Tennessee died on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Collierville, Tennessee.
Born Wednesday, July 16, 1980 in Memphis, Tennessee, she was the daughter of David Barrett and Yolanda Brown Tate.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 6:30pm-8:00pm at RS Lewis & Sons 2944 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN 38111. Celebration of Life will be Thursday, March 28, 2024 12:00 noon at Brown Baptist Church 980 Stateline Rd E, Southaven, MS 38671
Interment will be in Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery, 5485 Hacks Cross Rd, Memphis, TN 38125

Heartfelt condolences to the family of Demetrice!!! We lost a very kindhearted and precious soul!!! She came over my house on March 2nd and boy did we laugh and have an amazing time!!! We agreed to another playdate for the girls Katington Grace and Heavenly Grace bonded last year on the very first day of school! Now they hold a tighter and more special bond as both lost a parent within 6 months of each other. Hevenly expressed on Monday that She and Karington are now Sisters! I will make sure that they never lose their connection!! We pray for comfort, peace and for understanding above all else!!! Hugs of Love
