Doristeen Threat, 81 passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Lucious Thornwell and the late Betty Mae Van Buren Guinn in Memphis, Tennessee. Surviving are sons, Brodius Threat of Arlington, TN and Elliott T Threat, daughter, Melissa Ivy; 5 grandchildren, Elliot, Jr., Ellen, Summer, Ashley and Brodius, II; 1 great grandchild Kairo. Service arrangements are being handled by R. S. Lewis & Sons Funeral Home, 2944 Walnut Grove Rd, Memphis, TN. The visitation will be 10:00Am Thursday, September 9, 2021, at St Stephen Baptist Church, located at 4245 Walter K Singleton Parkway. Funeral service will be at St Stephen Baptist Church at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 9, 2021. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Memphis, TN.
