Dorothy Burnett Bryant, 98 of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at her residence. She was born Sunday, August 1, 1926, in Oakland, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William Burnett and the late Rosie Fields Burnett. Surviving are daughters, Clementine Bryant-Israel (William) and Dorothy Jean Bryant-Finley, one brother, Freeman Burnett; 3 grandchildren; Edward Lewis Bryant Jr. (Mary), Kimberly Bryant and James H Bryant Jr. (Lashindah) 5 great grandchildren Ayanna Kai, Caleb, Charis, Jacob and Jiselle. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, November 1, 2024, at R.S. Lewis Funeral Home, LLC, 2944 Walnut Grove, Memphis, Tennessee. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday at R.S. Lewis Funeral Home, LLC located at 2944 Walnut Grove Memphis, Tennessee 38112. Interment will be in Belle Grove Church Cemetery, Oakland, TN.
