Elbert Atkins Sr., 89, of Chattanooga, TN passed away on March 20, 2026 at Guiding Grace in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Elbert was born on July 19, 1936 to Ben and Josephine Jenkins in Louise, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 4th, 2026 from 10:00am - 12:00 noon at R.S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Home 3651 Austin Peay Hwy, Memphis, TN 38128. Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 4th, 2026 at 12:00 noon at R.S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Home 3651 Austin Peay Hwy, Memphis, TN 38128. Burial will take place at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Monday, April 6, 2026 at 2:00pm
