Gwenda and I worked together at the University of Memphis - Tigerlife/UMID Department for several years...Rest In Haven My Friend.
To the Family of Gwenda Porter, I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of my friend. I can only imagine the brightness of her wings as she is received in the father's arms. There are too many persons, families, groups and friends who experienced the kind spirit of a beautiful spirit. I am blessed to have been called a friend and as others have said, one of God's angels whose work was sufficient. ๐คฒ๐๐Dorothy Jeffries Anderson & Family
Offering my deepest sympathy and prayers to Gwenda's family. My heart is deeply saddened to learn of her passing as I scroll through the obituaries of the funeral home. It was a joy to see her back at church after being ill. I met Gwen at our church, Mississippi Blvd, and was in awe to learn that her Godmother and I were homies. I will always remember her beautiful smile and warm caring spirit. Family, please know that I grieve with you and am praying for your comfort. Callie Kearney, 901-619-7800
