Obituary For Harry Cooper
Harry Cooper, 72, of Memphis, TN passed away on July 13, 2026 at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Harry was born on March 2, 1954 to Jethro Finley and Ina Cooper in Memphis, Tennessee. He is survived by his spouse Sylvia Ann Mayes Cooper; four children, Chaundra Jones, Katrina Cooper, Shana Cooper, and Marcus Mayes Sr (Evelyn); seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jethro Finley and Ina Cooper. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30th, 2026 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm in the Chapel of R.S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Home 3651 Austin Peay, Memphis, Tennessee 38128. Funeral services will be on Friday, July 31st, 2026 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel at R.S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Homes 3651 Austin Peay, Memphis, Tennessee 38128. Burial will take place in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
