Herbert Eugene Smith, 67, of Memphis, TN passed away on February 23, 2025 at St Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Herbert was born on April 7, 1957 to and in Clarksdale, Mississippi to Estella Payne Joyner and the late Herbert Eugene Smith Sr. Surviving are his wife, Wanda F Smith, his mother, Estella Payne Joyner, step-father Dr. R T Joyner, his children, Herbert Eugene Smith III (Crystal) and Ashley Smith, his Siblings, Kenneth T Smith, Billy Parker, Travis Joyner, Gerald Joyner, Toya Lane and RoCheryl Joyner, Four grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 from 10:00 am - 11:55 am at Ross Road Church of Christ located at 4920 Ross Road in Memphis, TN. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 at 12:00 PM in the Ross Road Church of Christ with officiating. Burial will take place at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Wednesday March 5, 2025 at 10:00AM.
