Jamaal Ernalexis Jones, 35 of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Saint Francis Hospital in Bartlett, Tennessee.
Born Saturday, March 12, 1988 in Memphis, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Samuel Jones and the late Yolanda Minor Jones.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 2, 2023 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at RS Lewis & Sons 2944 Walnut Grove Road. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 3, 2023 10:00am at Castalia Baptist Church 2180 Airways Blvd, Memphis, TN 38114
Interment will be in New Park Cemetery, 4536 Horn Lake Rd, Memphis, TN 38109

I'm grateful to God for blessing me and other staff members of Open Arms to have been given the opportunity to be a service to his family members. Jamal will truly be missed, he made friends with everyone he came in contact with, and had the most amazing smile that lit up the room. Jamal was sweet, kind, helpful, full of laughter, full of joy, and he just created a wonderful atmosphere with his presence. My condolences to his family members and loved ones along with many friends that was touched by his life. It is hard to say goodbye but I know he is flying high in heaven.
