James H “Moe” Moore who was born to the to the late Gloria Moore Carr and the late Jimmy Johnson of Memphis, TN. Mr. Moore was a graduate of Southside High School. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined with the Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church where the Late Dr Charles Patterson baptized him. Mr. Moore later became a member a of St Stephen Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr James A Adams until his untimely demise. He was united in holy matrimony to Reola Moore in 1999. To this union one child was born Kristopher James Moore was born. James was preceded in death by his wife Reola, on April 12, 2015. As a result of his generous spirit and pleasant personality, he was loved by many and his influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him. His life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children: Jasen Whitmore, Kristopher James Moore, his stepchildren, Ava Liggins, and James Liggins, grandchildren; Elizabeth Ivy, Jasen Whitmore II., Jakobe Shaw, one Aunt; Cynethia Wright, one Sister Sheena Brent and a Veronica Ann Dandridge to celebrate his home going. Visitation will be Friday December 27, 2019 from 4-6 PM at R S Lewis & Sons Funeral Home Vance Ave Chapel located at 374 Vance Ave Memphis, TN 38126. Funeral service will be on Saturday December 28, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St Stephen Missionary Baptist Church located at 4245 Singleton Parkway. Interment will be immediately following at Calvary Cemetery.
