Obituary For John Davis
John A. Davis 70, of Millington, TN fell asleep in his Master's arms on February 22, 2026. He was a retired Navy veteran and continued to serve as a lab technician for the Memphis VA Hospital.
He was the proud husband of Barbara Davis for 44 years. To this union three children were born, Felicia Young proceeded him in death. He leaves a legacy of love with Tracey Young and Kristie Davis, three grandchildren, Keegan, Kailer, and Kingston Dortch. He also leaves three nieces, Toya Webb, Angela Davis, and Monique (Tony) Davis Shumate as well as two nephews Corey and Nicholas Davis. Along with a host of great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A public viewing is scheduled for March 16, 10am until service of celebration time 12pm at R. S. Lewis Funeral Home, 3651 Austin Peay Hwy. Interment to follow at West Tennessee State Veteran Cemetery.
