Beautiful, classy and holy is what I will remember Evsngelist Karon Jean Phillips being! She will always be remembered a woman of God full of The Holy Ghost and Fire. Our former First Lady Louise Patterson would rarely be seen without her and Sis Dean and the entire COGIC has lost a jewel. May she rest in Jesus arms until we meet again. Love and prayers to the entire family. Bishop Roderick and Lady Pamela Hennings. Zion Dominion COGIC Buffalo, NY
District Missionary Jean will be greatly missed. She was an anointed evangelist and friendly lady. She was beautiful inside and out. She embodied Holy Royalty but extremely personal and approachable. She brought powerful but practical messages that broke bondages. I will always cherish her mentorship and faithfulness to her ministry.
My prayers are with her family, friends and loved ones. May God strengthen , comfort , and bring you peace during this time.
District Missionary, Joyce Thomas ❤️🙏🏽

Jean is one of the greatest women that I have ever met. We worked together at City of Memphis Government and she changed my life forever. She definitely was a Woman of God in every way. I will always treasure her memory and thank God for bringing her into my life. I consider her a true, loving Sister-Friend. Rest in heavenly peace...job well done! Love, Ellen Blake TateHC8S
A prolific multi-talented child of God, twin Sister Jean Phillips wore many hats. She served the Lord and His people in various capacities from singing in the Pentecostal Temple choir early on, to adjutant and eventually becoming a district missionary in the Church of God in Christ. She excelled in management in the work world, and as a real estate agent, par excellent.
When our congregation were in search of a building in 2006, Sister Phillips had listed the property. We requested that she act, with her rare gift, as the double agent. As we expected, she brokered the deal with quickness, efficiency and fairness for all parties involved. She was indeed trust-worthy! She loved the Lord! She loved people! Her warm demeanor and magnetic smile were the hallmark of her personality.
May God continue to bless her husband, children, sister Supervisor Caron Dean Watkins, brother Calvin Keyes, her pastor, church members and all who loved her. May her life continue to be that guiding light and her memory, a blessing!

Sweet Karon "Jean", you were such a sweetheart, and so much fun to be around. I cherish our outings with your twin sis and my mom, fun lunches, etc. Heaven has been graced with your arrival, though we will miss you terribly here! May God bless you and all of your sweet family, Hack
