Keyshun Dale Thomas entered the world on September 9, 1992, as the beloved child of Beverly Branch and Christopher Dale Thomas. A loving upbringing was provided by father, Christopher, until his passing in 2008.
Keyshun received an education through the Memphis-Shelby County School System and graduated from Sheffield High School in 2010. Attendance at Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts was underway in pursuit of a culinary career until the time of transition.
In 2021, during a time when the world was emerging from the coronavirus lockdown, a renewed spiritual journey began. That same year, a rededication to God occurred, followed by baptism and membership in the Hammond Grove Missionary Baptist Church Family.
Keyshun was employed in various positions, including working for the Tennessee Department of Corrections. At the time of transition, Keyshun was employed with the Downtown Memphis Commission.
On February 1, 2021, a union in marriage was formed with best friend, Deloris Gray Thomas. Through this union, a family was formed, and two children were lovingly embraced and raised with care and commitment. Devotion to the role of a parent was reflected in every part of daily life.
Keyshun loved cooking, spending time with family and friends, and celebrating life to the fullest. A joy to be around, Keyshun had the ability to make anyone laugh and always showed just how deeply love was felt for everyone.
Preceding Keyshun in death were his father, Christopher Dale Thomas; sister and twin, Tiamisha Caprise Thomas (infant); grandfather, Clesther Thomas; and grandmothers, Pearele Mae Bursey and Estelle Wilson.
Cherished memories remain with spouse, Deloris Gray Thomas; children, London Winfrey, Jordan Winfrey, and Jasmine Griffin; mother, Beverly Branch; brother, Anthony Branch; sister, Krystal Branch; grandmother, Mrs. Ruby Allen; best friend since third grade, Sharna Hubbard; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, religious community members, and friends who will cherish Keyshun’s memory.
