Major Lavelle Hodges, 52, of Memphis, TN passed away on August 29, 2025 at Regional One Health in Memphis, Tennessee. Major was born on July 24, 1973 to David Hodges Sr and Annie Louise Tunstall in Memphis, Tennessee. He is survived by his spouse Tammy Renee Hodges (Major) of Memphis, TN; two sons, Major Lavalle Hodges Jr and Marvelle Cadarius Hodges; his mother, Annie Louise Tunstall of Memphis, TN; one sister Brandy Hodges and one brother, David C Hodges Jr. He is preceded in death by his father, David C Hodges. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13th, 2025 from 10:00 am - 11:55 am at R.S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Homes 3651 Austin Peay Memphis, TN. Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 13th, 2025 at 12:00 PM in the R.S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Home 3651 Austin Peay. Burial will take place at Forest Hill South Cemetery.
