Mary Lee Barnes, 80 of Bartlett, Tennessee died on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Born Sunday, May 25, 1941, in Itta Bena, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Buddy Barnes and the late Emma Bannor Barnes Walker. Surviving are son, Hillary L Washington, daughters, Marion D Barnes, Martha A Washington, Mary A Washington, Eunice A Washington, Cassandra A Washington and Shawonda A Barnes, sisters, Clester Gunn and Delois Walker; 24 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. To celebrate her home going. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, January 21, 2022, at R S Lewis & Sons Funeral Home, 374 Vance Ave, Memphis, Tennessee. Funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday January 22, 2022, at Chelsea Ave Church of Christ located at 2334 Chelsea Ave Memphis, Tennessee 38107.

I've been knowing Ms. Mary since I was a very small kid. Always had a loving heart not only her kids, but other people kids too.
