nancy was my freind from 1972 until here passing she cooked for me on two occasions we wrote to each other after the passing of nathaniel her husband she sent artifacts and told me where i could buy thing i was interested in this is a tribute to her kindness and caring nature may she rest in peace

I did not know Nancy but would have loved to have met her. I have always been an Elvis fan and knew everyone connected with. Nancy thanks for making Elvis happy being his cook all those years! Tell Elvis hello!!!!! RIP NANCY!!!!!

I knew Nancy Rooks Given for over 40 some years. I was her adopted New York Godaughter where I reside now. However, being I also had relatives in West Memphis, and being we shared a love of Memphis,it became my second home. Countless visits, letters and phone calls I was so blessed to have her in my life. Also, I appreciated her welcoming me into her Elvis family where we had many great times and I met so many people. We had some wonderful conversations and she never forgot my birthday on the 4th of July. I believe Elvis in a way escorted her home to Heaven as she passed on the day of his anniversary vigil. They are certainly singing their favorite gospel songs like they always did. Love and Condolences to her family and I pray for strength for them at this time. Love you Nancy and God Bless you.
