Nonnie Beatrice Telford, 74 of Memphis, Tennessee died on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Born Thursday, August 11, 1949, in Memphis, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Lee Dotson and the late Lillian Dotson. She was the wife of John Telford. Surviving are sons, Grover Odom, Jr., Kendrick Odom and Chad Odom, daughter, Melinda Coleman; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, August 30, 2024, at R S Lewis & Sons Funeral Home, 2944 Walnut Grove Rd, Memphis, Tennessee. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Mt Olive Baptist Church located at 2763 Spottswood Memphis, Tennessee 38114. The interment will be in New Park Cemetery, Memphis, TN

My prayers and condolences To the loved ones for Nonnie. We were the inseparable 6 at Dobbs House Memphis International Airport. Our group was Memphis Finest for we loved, respected and spent quality moments together at work and at our homes, with our children and other friends, Nonnie was always the shortest but tall in our hearts. She always had the biggest smile and kept us on track. Jr, Ken, Chad and baby girl Melinda, Nonnie will live forever in your hearts and memories and I will never, ever forget my friend!!! God be with each of you; her legacy for we all know that she loved you with her whole heart!!! God she is back to you now; her smile with help brighten heaven above!!! love Tish and family!!!
