Obituary For Otha Boyd
Mrs. Otha Boyd was born October 7, 1938 in Tyronza Arkansas in Poinsett County.
Otha married Clifford Earl Boyd who proceeded her in death in 2021. Otha was also proceeded in death by her sibling Lillie Thigpen, James Triplett Jr., Jessie Mae Carter, Joseph Triplett and Calvin Triplett.
She is survived by her sibling Lawrence Triplett of Minneapolis, Minneapolis and her daughters Gwendolyn Stewart, Jacqueline Williams (Ron), and son Clifford Boyd Jr.
Her grandchildren Danielle Williams, Ashley Dinkins(Antonio), Lakeem Boyd Jr. Kai'lr Boyd and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be Thursday, July 17, 11:00 a.m. at R.S. Lewis Funeral Home 3651 Austin Peay, Memphis, TN.
Burial will take place at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forrest Hill Irene Rd.

I know her as Dimples. Dimples was a very head strong firm woman. She said what she meant and meant what she said. Her daughter Gwen is my sister in Christ and so much like her mom. Dimples was very spiritual and she loved her family. God bless Gwen, Jackie and Lil Man.
I never met Mrs Boyd personally but I did however, hear wonderful things about her. Such as Birthdays, holidays, or just her daily activities. I was privy to meet a few of her grandchildren and both her daughters. Her daughter Jackie and I have been friends and coworkers for.13 years. The values and standards that Jackie display can only be a reflection of her Mother. True example a Child is a product of their environment. My Condolences to the family. Praying for peace and strength for each of you.
