Obituary For Sharon Strange

Sharon Denise Strange was born on July 28, 1966, in Gary, Indiana, to the late Warren G. Strange and Louise Lawrence. She was later blessed to have Ernest Lawrence as her stepfather, who became a cherished part of her life. Sharon completed her journey on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

Sharon was a graduate of William A. Wirt High School. She married Obie Cohran on December 24, 2001, and together they built a loving and happy home.

She worked in retail for many years, rising to the position of manager. Sharon was respected and admired by her colleagues and customers.

Sharon was a loving wife and mother who loved to laugh and bring joy to everyone around her. She treasured every moment with her family and friends.

Her memory will be cherished by her husband, Obie; her daughter, LaTisha; four stepchildren, Bryan, Candace, Kimberly, and Courtney; her twin, Karon; sister, Felicia; three step grandchildren, nieces, Jana Shead and India Day, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 14, 2025 from 4:00pm-6:00pm. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025 11:00am both will be held at at A Worship Experience Christian Center, 1406 Aste St, Memphis, TN 38106

Internment will be in Pleasant Rest Memorial Gardens 6235 Raleigh Millington Rd, Millington, TN 38053
