Obituary For Terrell Devon Todd

On the break of a beautiful fall noon, a bundle of joy entered this world. Terrell Devon Todd “Relly” was born October 5, 1991, in Chicago, Illinois, to Willie A. Todd, II and Chantry T. Greer. Terrell attended Memphis City Schools where he was a proud Ford Road Elementary Tiger and a Mitchell High School graduate. He also attended Remington College. He was a lively yet kind soul with a great sense of humor which always kept you laughing. He had a smile that was bigger than life and had lots of love to share. Terrell loved both sides of his family and would always say, “I thank GOD for my family.” He loved and treasured every moment he shared with us. When he walked into the room he greeted us all with hugs and/or kisses. Terrell was love and he was the joy of both sides of his family. As a young child he loved his car toys and wouldn’t go to sleep without them. He was a true story teller and would always tell jokes. He loved to play basketball, video games, sing in the shower, and hang with his siblings, cousins and friends. He loved cleanliness and he loved to be clean. He loved the holidays with family, he loved his sibling and cousin outings to fun places in town and he also loved his exciting trips each year with his Todd family where he would spend time and have more fun with more family members. Family meant the world to him as he was nicknamed by his Grandfather Willie Sr. “Willie Jr. Brother”, after his big brother, Willie Todd III which brought joy to them both and the family. He was also nicknamed Relly by his great-great aunt, Mary “Baby Sister”). On December 12, 2019, Terrell transitioned from this life to eternal life. His uncle, Anthony Jackson preceded him in death, and his grandfather, Willie A. Todd, Sr., preceded him in death 4½ months ago. Terrell leaves to cherish his memories: his baby daughter, Tori Todd; special friend, Demetria Jones; his parents, Willie A. Todd II and Chantry T. Greer; his siblings, Willie Todd III (Jamica), Dana Greer, & Kareem Austin, all of Memphis, Tennessee, Lashea Manning & Aaliyah Bryant, both of Chicago, Illinois; his grandparents, Eva Greer-Strong & Henry E. Strong (Bonus), both of Memphis, Tennessee, and Ruth Todd & Charles Gray, both of Chicago, Ilinois, as well as his great-great aunts, great-great uncle, great-uncles, great-aunts, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.

Family will receive friends Friday, December 20, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm and homegoing celebration, Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 12:00 noon, both services will be held at R. S. Lewis & Sons Funeral Home, 2944 Walnut Grove Rd., Memphis, TN 39111.
