Obituary For Vella Y Boothe
Vella Y Boothe, 69, of Memphis, TN passed away on September 19, 2025 at Methodist South Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Vella was born on March 5, 1956 to Lester and Pearline Rowell Young in Memphis, Tennessee. She is survived by her spouse Walter E Boothe; two children, Andrew D Boothe Sr and Camesha D Cathey( Donald); and four grandchildren, Ohmari Coleman, D'Juan Cathey, Andrew Boothe Jr and Jade Monet Boothe. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pearline Rowell Young and Lester S Young. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd, 2025 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at R.S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Homes 2944 Walnut Grove in Memphis, TN. Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Pentecostal Baptist Church located at 1538 Norris Road Memphis, Tennessee 38106. Burial will be immediately following the service at Calvary Cemetery.
