Obituary For Edward Charles Whitaker
With an abundance of love and concern, S. Jones F. and C. is embracing the heartbroken loved ones of Mr. Edward Charles Whitaker, 68, of Battleboro, NC (better known as the Dunbar Community) as they prepare to say “Farewell” to this vital link to their family chain. Mr. Whitaker, departed this earthly life on February 27, 2020 in the hospice facility of Vidant Inpatient Hospice.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1 pm, Saturday, March 07, 2020 in the sanctuary of the Jerusalem Baptist Church, 426 Cutchin Rd, Whitakers, NC 27891. The body will lie in repose 12 pm - 1 pm, for friends and loved ones to come pay their respects prior to the service.
Interment will follow in the St. Matthew Church Cemetery, Dunbar Community.

To the Whitaker's Family and Friends, there is so many memories I have of Brother Whitaker. It was a joy to be around him cause he knew what to say to make you laugh. What a great man of God he was. I thank God for adding him into my life. I will see you later my friend. You surely kept the Faith and now your reward is in Heaven. I am really going to miss you Brother Whitaker.
