Edwin Carl Watson, Sr., who lived a fulfilling life for 80 years, peacefully passed away on March 9, 2026, at The Service League of Greenville Hospice House.

Mr. Watson was a dedicated former resident of Enfield, NC, where he proudly served as Chief of Police. He will always be cherished in the community for his beloved role as Santa Claus, bringing joy and warmth to countless lives.

In tribute to his legacy, a visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Reposing Room of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations.

A Celebration of Life by the Graveside will be held 1 pm, Sunday, March 15, 2026 in the Elmwood Cemetery.
