It is with profound sadness that S. Jones F. and C. announces the passing of Mr. George Edmond Parker. As of December 5, 2025, he has departed from us while residing in Washington, DC and joined his cherished loved ones who went before him. While he may no longer respond to his name in this world, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched during his life time.

Local Services has been arranged for those in North Carolina who wishes to pay their respect. A visitation will be held 5 pm - 7 pm, Friday, December 12, 2025 in the chapel of the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations where the family will be present to acknowledge their many friends and other loved ones.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in the sanctuary of St. Paul Baptist Church, located in Enfield, North Carolina. A public viewing will be held one hour prior to the service, commencing at 10:00 a.m.
