It is with heartfelt compassion that S. Jones F. and C. announces the passing of Miss Gertrude Truemilla Cotton, a cherished former resident of Fountain, NC. Truemilla, as she was lovingly called, completed her journey through life on February 1, 2026, while residing in Wilson, North Carolina.
Services to honor her life will commence with a public viewing from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in the sanctuary of the Greater New Testament Holy Church located at 9201 County Line Rd., Sharpsburg, NC 27878. Following the public viewing, a Service of Love and Remembrance will take place at 2:00 PM.
Committal Rites will take place at the Buddy-Hemby Memorial Cemetery.
