Psalms 116:15 reminds us that, “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.” Heaven rejoices at the arrival of another saint: Sister Mavis Jean Lynch Richardson, a beloved mother to many. Mrs. Richardson exchanged her earthly garments for her robe in glory on November 03, 2025, while residing in Wendell, North Carolina.

A Home Going Celebration will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025, in the sanctuary of Plumbline United Holy Church, Enfield, NC, where she served the church wholeheartedly in various capacities. A public viewing will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11 am, as she lies in state at the altar of her church.

She will be laid to rest in the Plumbline Church Cemetery, where Committal Rites will be conducted.
