Obituary For Ray Harper
With sincere compassion and concern, S. Jones F. and C. stands hand in hand with the relatives of Mr. Ray Harper, 91, of Enfield, NC as they prepare to celebrate his lasting legacy. Mr. Harper transitioned into eternal rest April 23, 2020 after receiving his heavenly summons at Hunter Hill Nursing and Rehab.
A visitation for Mr. Harper will be held 10:30 am - 11:30 am on Friday, May 01, 2020 in the chapel of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations. A Service of Remembrance will begin promptly at 12 noon in the chapel.
Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only 50 people can attend the funeral service. Please check with the family before attending. To accommodate those who wish to attend the service but can't, it will be streamed live on our Facebook page: S. Jones Funerals and Cremations.

Martha, I am so sad to learn that Ray has passed. He was as close to my family as a brother. He truly was a friend. I feel honored to have known and worked with him. He was my dad's right-hand man on the farm. I am glad that he has a home to go to,( Heaven) May God continue to bless all your family. Rest in Peace, my friend. Velma and Herbert Williams
Cousin Ray Harper answered God's call. His Ninety one years is truly a legacy. God has truly been a blessing that he was with us for (91) years. The chain has again been broken. Know that he will truly be missed but forever loved!!! The battle is not our's, it is the Lord. Know that we as family must look to the hills which cometh our help. May we all continue to embrace each of us that are still here to Hold on to God's Unchanging Hand!!! Weeping may endure for a night , but joy cometh in the morning. Now Daddy Arthur Harper is with his Cousin Ray. May we all as a family continue to love each other as we Turn the Page Together!!!Cousin Ray was a Trooper" He fought a Good fight, He kept the Faith, He finished his course...
