LEGACY/FAMILY
These words are guideposts, which shed the light on how a humble stalwart Christian—(retired) Guidance Counselor George Langham, aka husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, in-law and friend lived his best life.
My late husband, William, and I had the distinct privilege to know and love George as in-laws up close and personally—especially his hearty belly laugh when he caught lots of fish on Daughin Island when his brother-in-law was lagging behind in fish not caught. George relished sharing family stories and foibles along with sharing his prized homegrown sugar cane, deer sausage and yes his fish too.
No doubt George is mourned and sorely missed on Cecelia Street by family, friends and neighbors alike but I do know one thing for sure—My life is blessed because God allowed my path to cross with George and his family on this earthly journey called life.
May God bless and comfort George Langham's family. Smile as you remember the Good Times!
Love, Janis Foster (sister-in-law)
